In 1979 we were established by a man named Duke Perry and his first 10-wheeler a 1968 Autocar. Originally starting as a trucking company working for Lawrence Lynch hauling material and asphalt, he then found his love for blacktop. He then began his journey of building the company he has today 40 plus years later. Along the way he acquired many great relationships that helped bring him to present day. Ten years into this quest he found his life partner and then started navigating the world of business together. Continuing to maintain the trucking business for the next ten years he began acquiring more trucks and then quickly started obtaining some equipment along with. The more and more Duke learned about asphalt the more it slowly began the primary service of what we do here at DP Corp. As tough times came rolling throughout the country during the last recession in 08' it forced us to adapt in order to keep the doors open for business. Throughout the first 20 years of Duke business venture has gained great knowledge for the construction business. So, through those tough time there were tough decisions to be made. So, he decided to expand our services beyond paving and added excavation to our services. By 2013 finally exiting the rough roads cause by the recession we really elevated our skills and was capable of bring great value to our customers from start to finish in building their dream home. Bringing nothing but blood, sweat and tears to the table for the last 30 years he and his partner built a company that started with a dollar and a dream. And now they have the great privilege to continue the dream with their three children and many friends and family alongside.
